This assignment on Composition shows a number of composition concepts and was developed from various websites (see below). The location was Amble in Northumberland.

This composition assignment includes: Use of Lines: Horizontal, Vertical, Diagonal, Organic and Inferred, The Rule of Thirds, The Rule of Odds and the use of Negative Space. I have been using The Art of Photography website, developed by Ted Forbes, as my main source of research and inspiration for this assignment.  I also used his YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest sites.

The photos were taken in late August 2024 which my Canon D500 with a 50mm prime lens and shot as Black and White images.
